Welcome to Above Base Camp!
The invitation of Above Base Camp is to join us on the climb, as we intentionally seek to follow Jesus on the good way of the ancient paths up the Mountain of God. Our hope is that, together with the Holy Spirit, we can help you to grow ever deeper in your Christian faith as you discover your own unique roles in the Family and Kingdom of God.
You may be just starting out on your faith journey, or you may have become stuck or settled along the way. Perhaps you are unsure of what the journey is meant to look like, or even why you need to go on it! By using the metaphor of Climbing God’s Mountain (your own personal Mount Everest), our aim is to help you press on for the summit and continue your climb Above Base Camp by Following the Path of Jesus.
The goal of Above Base Camp is to set out a ‘big picture’ framework for the life of faith as a Christian. This ABC-themed framework is built around three core concepts: Aspiring to become Christlike, Balancing your life across the 3 Spheres and Climbing the Mountain Path.
